sent a text saying it was MacquarieAU saying to review account activity to avoid a lock being placed on my account. Directs me to a website with a ref number. I don't have an account this could even remotely be linked to. scam

Scam. Apparently I bought something and to give them a call if it was not me.

Apparently my payment for a camera on Amazon was successful. SMS included link to helpline on 08 72000 751. Googled the landline number and saw that it has multiple scam warnings.

Got a text message from cba .. a new payee luno has been set up on 27/3/2021 if not you follow link.
I went on the link using secure untraceable internet. Was a realistic comm bank netbank but had mobile numbers... pretty convincing but lucky i don't use em .

The link goes to a Bitcoin site

Got a text message from this number on January 6, 2021, saying I still have not claimed my Harvey Norman Xmas giveaway 'get it before expiration now' and giving the link 9v7duy.com/8cW5 which gives a blank screen

Scam.

They left a message when you go to the link I have a parcel with unpaid taxes. It looks extremely dodgey and the tracking number does not line up with anything I am waiting for. It has to be a scam as when I previously have had unpaid taxes on items you pay when you pick it up. Do not fall for this!
