Panthera finance. By "buying" outstansing debts. They atrempt to gain Jurisdiction for payment (with premium ) via verbal contracting. Know your Rights. If a company wishes to pay your debts on your behalf.. LET THEM😉

They are trying to call to collect a debt they "bought" from Optus. Problem is, there was no debt. The mobile phone was returned and the plan cancelled before it even started, Optus even confirmed it on the phone. But then a year later, Optus activated the service "automatically" because that is how their system works and I suddenly received a bill. Told them to get necked, and disputed via TIO. Never heard anything again until Pathera started to call. Emailed and told them to stuff off, advised why I wouldn't be speaking to them over the phone and to direct all correspondence via email. Two days later, they're calling again. Reported to the ACCC as unwelcome harassment

Refused to give their name, asked for confirmation of who I was. I'm not going to give details to some random caller, hung up and blocked them.

Debt collectors. They'll try to trick you by calling from various mobile, private and landline numbers. Old debts. The first thing they'll do is ask for your personal details under the guise of "updating information." Don't give it out.

If you want to block nuisance calls like this one, you have the option of buying a phone from a Telstra Shop that can do this, it is called the Telstra Call Guardian 301. Other devices such as Fritz!Box modem router also have call blocking features.
