Caller claimed to be from NBN to help fix our internet. Strong foreign accent.
Advised him that we are not on NBN, (still using ADSL) but he pressed on anyway.
He said it was necessary for me to type in instructions that he would give. Suspecting a scam I went along a bit.
Clearly he was aiming to get remote access to my desktop. SCAM CONFIRMED. Immediately hung up and immediately received calls from other mobile numbers namely 0403 824 778 and 0492 069 006.
