Caller: Scam - "The Amazon"

I get very cheeky with the scammers so I was playing along. Apparently there had been a fraudulent order placed for an iPhone 11 and a foreign man asked me if I wanted to cancel the order, so I said no, I would like the iPhone 11. Then he got angry saying I hadn't paid and I said "but the order has been placed you said!" and then he hung up. I miss him already.

I didn’t answer and they didn’t leave a message.

There was a ten second pause upon answering, before a high pitched tone and an automated female voice said, “goodbye”. The call was immediately disconnected and I have blocked this number.

Survey scam

woman greeted me with Hello Mrs C....... I said I am not her and this is a wrong number. Then she said "could you get her please" -- I repeated it was a wrong number.
Two days ago a man greeted me with Hello Mrs C....... I said I am not her and this is a wrong number. Same - he wouldn't take that for an answer.
The number used to belong to a Mr C....., but that was about 8 years ago. Why does Telstra leave the number in his name?
