The Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) is an Australian Government program that provides access to up to $1,132 in benefits over two consecutive calendar years, covering the most basic general dental services. From 1 July 2025, it will be mandatory for a parent or legal guardian to sign the CDBS Bulk Billing Patient Consent Form at each dental appointment. This applies even if the child is not currently eligible for the CDBS or has reached the benefit cap.
