Caller: Scammer Lady with Indian accent pretending to be from Telstra, even though I don't have a Telstra account. She tried to reset the password on my email account and asked for the reset code that went to my phone, pretending it was a verification number. Old scam.

She is still active having just tried this on me, although I stopped it before any action was taken. She knew my mobile and Bigpond accout are associated but I called it quits there. She was trying to tell me that Telstra was going to give me a 60% discount on my accout to 24 months - too good to be true so I concluded it could not be. My contact was 1440h 11 Dec 25.

Caller: Indian woman Said she was from Telstra, read out some Gmail address that wasn’t mine then when I asked if she was actually from Telstra because she was making me uncomfortable… she hung up. Don’t fall for it.
