I also rang back and the message said the number doesn't accept incoming calls. I believe this is spam.

I called back number 0477 052 336 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.

Caller: Said they were from government energy

Sounded like an Indian call centre. Said they were from the government and that I should have been sent some sort of device to tell me about my energy usage.
Knew my name and suburb. I hung up before it went any further.

Strong Indian accent, "funded by the government" wanting to drop off "a free energy saving device" that measured energy consumption. Seemed to be actually checking what my postcode was as a first step of identity theft.

They asked for me by name and when I asked who was calling, he hung up. I tried calling the number back and got an automated message that this number does not accept incoming calls.

Ringing about a solar panel rebate, will ask if you are the home owner or if you have solar panels, if not they will rudely hang up on you. Pathetic Spam.
