Rcvd twice saying have won something from jb Hi-Fi and to click the link so I can collect my prize

Consecutively twice in 2 weeks now I’ve received scam text. First time was requesting me to confirm a parcel/shipment and if I don’t it will be sent back. A link to click the confirmation. I don’t expect any parcel!

This second one also a scam text indicating they are from an electronic store( but did not mention which company) highlighting my mobile number and name and told me to click a link.

This is a total scam. Few days ago I watched Current Affairs and they have mentioned for the last months there have been a hike in reported scam cases as such going around via automated phone calls and text messages. If you click the link, they will download malicious virus to gather your phone details as well as contacts and then used it to send out messages to your list of contacts
