Caller: Text Message…Said it was healthgov Said I had touch contact with covid, and to push on link to order a test kit.

I received a message supposedly from Medicare telling me I was in close contact with someone who tested positive for Omicron, I needed to take a covid test and press on a link to order a test kit. I rang Medicare and was told it’s probably a scam that Medicare would not send messages like that to people; only my State Health Department would message citizens if they had been in close contact with someone who tested positive to Omicron.
