Caller: Myra - Telstra scammer Called and stated I was being given a discount of 40% on my Telstra plan her reasoning was that they’re losing too many customers so offering discounts to incentivise people to stay with Telstra. she relayed my mobile number, email and the last 4 digits of my card number and stated I would get a confirmation code sent to my phone. I got a verification code from my Microsoft account which has not association with my Telstra account so I assume they were trying to gain access to my email account. Has been reported to Telstra, my bank and Microsoft

I had exactly same experience - they were also trying to hack into my Service NSW account as they sent me a code from there and asked me to read out.
