Called the number back. A nice lady said the "scammer got my number and are calling hundreds of people"

Recorded message saying "we are the NBN and we're about to disconnect your phone and internet since NBN is now available in your area; press 1 to get connected to the technician" SCAM.

Called back and number is disconnected at time 14:23 02/05/2022

I answered the call, received a recorded message stating that my home phone and internet would be disconnected, unless I pressed '1' to talk to a technician. I hung up then looked on reverseaustralia.com to find other comments re possible scam.

I don't recognise the number, I let it go through to voicemail and they didn't leave a message. I suspect that it is a scam call.

I answered the call, with immediate MUTE, no one said anything, no hello or 'is anyone there', nothing, they just hung up..... no further call back yet, Robot?

The callers number is considered unsafe with the number blocked, deleted and reported.
