Caller: Scam This is a scam number. Do not answer calls from it.
I answered a call from this number on 18 November 2020. It was an automated voice advising me that my Amazon Prime account was about to be auto-renewed at a cost of $79.99. It gave me the option of pressing 1 to speak to someone about the renewal.
I immediately ended the call, as I do not have an Amazon Prime account. A quick Google search confirms that scam calls of exactly this nature have been floating around for a year or so.
