Caller: Scammer claiming to be Amazon Caller purported that they are calling from Amazon. They reported that my Amazon account might be compromised as the account was linked to an IP address in Mountain View, California and had tried to place an order for a new iPhone 13. The caller, a male with heavy South Asian accent then attempted to get me to Google search the phrase "my 1p address" - a manipulation of Google's search engine - which shows a search result of Google's IP address in Mountain View disguised as my own IP. I told the caller that this is a well known scam and that his call is not legitimate. The caller disconnected the call immediately.
