Knew about my small business....as soon as i mentioned i wasn't sure what he was talking about....he hung up on me.

These police calls are a scam, anyone here saying they donated and received a certificate etc, are either fake/lying, or they've been ripped off and just don't realise it yet.

Caller: The Australasian Institute of Policing

called asking for a marketing donation for police magazine, wanted information emailed, got defensive after i would not give home address, said we were not a good match, weird!

and once you donate, wont leave you alone, will keep calling

Caller: Emergency / Police

Thank for Guiding me through the Process Rob, happy to help the Police.

Called and proceeded with small talk, I asked if this was to do with police donations, or contributing to a magazine.
He said “No, it was actually to do with a large construction project”, then hung up.
Absolute Liar and Waste of my time.

I think he said his name was Stewart, claiming to be someone to do with the police and army police and whoever else I can't remember, and some how got my number as I'm a small business owner and wanted me to be a sponsor for the emergency services, sounded like a scam to me.

Caller: Police Institution

A very nice man called me from this number to help police and he sent me a nice certificate i could print out and put in the shop
Couldn't believe I hadn't heard about this before amazing

Was skeptical on the call , but after receiving information and media kits, was happy to support.
