Caller: Scammer Attempted to call me (Tax Agent) and request lodgement of fraudulent business activity statements for their "wholesale chipboard/timber' sole-trader business. Seen this scam before, reported to the ATO, be aware!

As a BAS agent I have just had the same call even now wanting a June BAS done. Could hardly understand the caller. I'm staying away after previous reports!

Caller: Scammer As per James above, I'm also a registered tax agent and I've been dealing with the scammer from this number. Regardless of whatever information they provide and however convincing that information might be, it's a scam. Run.
