Caller: Scammer They called, saying "Heh Dad, I've dlhad an accident. Guess what happened". I said, what dropped your phone? They said, Yeh I- dropped my phone in the toilet... this is my new number. Save it". I said is this xxx or xxx They replied with one of the names.
They then asked for a favour - to pay 2 bills, and that they would pay me back in 2 days. I said sure, you know that. I then asked them a series of questions to verify that it was my son. They didn't answer.
I then sent a message to my son, who confirmed that it was a scam.
