I had a similar experience.
I have never agreed to advertising. But they leave it for months than try to gas light you into believing you did want to advertise with them.

They're scum. Her and the other woman that calls. I've blocked both numbers.

Demanding money for some volunteer emergency group. I called around, they're not connected to any emergency services. And no one within emergency services I spoke to has heard of them.

Scam.

There is no publication. You will not get any advertising from them.

called asking if I had advertised through service magazines (police etc...) - wanted to know if they could get copies for their studies. So strange.

Extremely pushy.
Predatory behaviour on small businesses. They take your add from another publication and claim you agreed to advertise with them.
Never heard of them before. I called a similar magazine that I do deal with who warned me about them.

Called claiming I agreed to advertising with them a few months prior and that the publication was already published.

My business closed down four years ago.

Very aggressive in wanting payment.

Called saying they were studying advertising and saw my add in a magazine I hadn't heard of and wanted permission to use it in their studies.

Calls back two days later claiming to I need to pay them for advertising. In another magazine I still haven't heard of.

Claiming to be a charity.

They use a similar name to a legitimate magazine, but wit no relation intentionally to confuse customers from other magazines.
They are also extremely aggressive in trying to con people out of their money.

They're a scam company.

A friend warned me about them. They're known for taking money for fake publications.

Aggressively demanding payment for advertising I didn't ask for in a magazine I have never heard of.
I've had similar calls from multiple numbers with a similar approach.
I only and have only advertised over Facebook.
They all have said they spoke to me months ago. We haven't.

Caller: Fraudulent call

Claims we agreed to advertise with them and owe money. Calls back claiming to be with a different magazine with no connection, forgets to use different number.

Report all contact to accc and scam watch.
