Scammer that is interested in buying your car almost too frantically. Asks you to buy a report for vehicle history, but everyone should know that buyers need to do their due diligence and be the ones buying car reports when interested in buying a car.

Caller: He said his name was Josh

I put an ad for a car on Gumtree and Josh replied very quickly. He asked to set up a time tomorrow to view the car. Luckily I didn't give my address at this time.. He then asked for a Report for the car. I looked up his details here and found the previous comment, Thankyou🙏
He was the second person from a scam number to contact me in the first 30 mins of the ad going live. Yet you can see no views on the ad itself. Please beware of this scam and others when selling cars on Gumtree.

Received a message quickly after posting a car for sale. Requested that I purchase my own ACC report via a third party website. Beware this number, as they are a scammer.

THE CALLER WAS INTERESTED IN BUYING A CARAVAN I ADVERTISED ON GUMTREE.
HE / SHE WANTED EXACT LOCATION BUT I NEVER GAVE IT.
THEN ASKED FOR AN ACC REPORT & EVEN SUPPLIED THE WEB ADDRESS FOR IT (NOT THE SELLERS RESPONSIBILITY.)
SAID HIS NAME WAS JASON.
SOUNDS THE SAME TO WHAT IS ALREADY LISTED HERE.
