Caller: Wendy ( any name will be used ) A car scammer. Insists you buy a VI ( vin number ) report from a scam website they provide . Tell them a VI report is a buyers responsibility which they can buy using your details on Gumtree. In Australia we use a PPSR certificate which is free after you pay Gumtree. Also free via Budget direct provided you tick the sales emails box. Unsub after the first email. Do not engage, tell them nothing, there after your $ and your identity details, not your car.
