SMS supposedly from NAB to say 'Your a/c is suspended'
Message asked me to log in for verification and gives log in details.
Which of course I have not!

My account is overdrawn, please keep it locked, appreciate

I received the message last Friday at 3.47 am, purportedly from the Commonwealth bank to say "Your account is locked. Unlock it manually" which is interesting because I don't have an account with the Commonwealth Bank. Also interesting to see all the comments on this page. It's obviously a scam, so I am reporting it to Scamwatch. How they got my number I don't know. I'll also report it to the Commonwealth Bank, but no doubt they receive lots of this sort of report.

just now I received a sms "The account is locked, log in to the account for verivication." with a link showing link to commonwealth bank support.... sure a scam as they cant even spell?! then seeing all this messages here, wonder why the number is still on going...

Commonwealth bank: Your account is locked. Unlock it manually. .... i don't even have a comm bank account. Obviously a scam!

Blocked the number. Will also report.

Received a message from the same number, saying my Commonwealth Bank account has been locked. Click on the link to unlock. SCAM!

scam. commbank fraud text. Do NOT reply or follow link.

Seems these people are randomly pretending to be from different banks. My message said Bendigo Bank. The dead giveaway - I don't have an account with Bendigo Bank. And even if I did, these days I just don't trust phone calls, SMSs or emails, and ask for a reference number then call back on the publically registered number for the organisation, not the one they give me.

Received the same scam message this morning 08/08/17 at 5:15AM AWST. Clearly a scam (spelt verification wrong!), didn't open it. If in doubt ring your bank direct.

As of today 7th August, this number is still sending SMS pretending to be Commbank!!

Scam message saying "Your account got locked. Log in to verify it. http://activation-westpac.com/cgi". I do not have an account with Westpac!

claims to be from Commonwealth bank. we don't have an account with them. it is definitely a phishing scan.
