Caller: 'Michael' from Westpac Fraud Team Someone supposedly named Michael from 'Westpac Fraud Team' contacted me saying he wanted to confirm if I had made certain purchases on my card or if they were fraud. He called from this mobile number which was strange for one, two the background noise sounded like he was either outside or calling from a car and three, when that raised my suspicions I said before I confirm my identity tell me what card you are referring to. He said a Mastercard ending in XXXX. I had cancelled that card about a month ago after I noticed some fraudulent transactions so I know that this cannot be used anymore. Don't answer this number or give anyone your information over the phone.
