Caller: Visa/Mastercard scammer Recorded message pretending to be from Visa/Mastercard. Of course it isn't, it is from a well organised and persistent call centre run by criminals, usually but not always based in India. We have them based in Australia too, and there are some based in South-East Asia. We have effectively no regulation of this menace here. The Government has failed to keep our telephone system free of criminals and scammers.
