Received this text message to my mobile telephone on 08 July 2022
ATO: You are due a repayment of income Tax year 2020/2021 Please complete an application form on: https://https://ato-claim-id.com/
What annoys me is I have recently completed my tax return for 20/21 to ATO through my accountant whom I have great trust. I just wonder if someone in the ATO is able to access confidential information.
Two things of note: I did not have a refund but did have a rather large payment to ATO and the ATO contacts my accountant if there are any problems.
