How about the government sets up a new police area specifically to catch these criminals. Surely cannot be that difficult. Many millions are being lost to these illegal schemes - plus all the wasted time and stress.

I also received an SMS from this number reporting an expensive Amazon purchase. Asked me to call (08) 6245 2502. Poor grammar and spelling in the message was a bit of a give away.

Caller: apparently from Amazon SMS send from this number. It informed me of an expensive Amazon purchase. I checked my Amazon account, no such purchase.
