Caller: A cruise company scam

Rang me. I answered and they said; "Hello (My name)". I said; "Who is speaking?". They hung up. I called back and it was as detailed in the above comments regarding some $100 credit via sms for a cruise or something along those lines? When is the government going to legislate against this sort of nuisance?!

Spam...the next generation; from mobile numbers. For goodness sake.

I didn't recognise the number, therefore, I didn't answer thank god. I must admit I didn't expect a hit when I asked Mr Google to do a search. These scams are out of control. In my opinion, the Companies of whatever deal it supposedly is should be held accountable and honour it, maybe then they will get off their arses and combat it this crap somehow

Caller: SCAM

Claimed to be from a cruise company offering cruise credits. Told them I am on the do not call register & she claimed I had requested the call but when I asked she please tell me when & how I did so she said that she is more than happy to remove my number from her call list & hung up.

Scammer claiming to be Telstra Internet Help Desk - when they said my internet is not secure and offered to fix it, I hung up. Suggest you don't give these scum the time of day.

Travel scam.

these people call, hang up and wait for you to call back and then they've got you! Block the number and don't answer. Appears to be a company selling holiday plans! Who has time for holidays?

Caller: Megacruise

Had my email and phone number. Wanted to 'activate' some special deal I had received via email back in July but needed personal information. Unless people are on my accepted list all other email goes to junk box. Told NO. I suspect that a competition I entered have sold off email and phone details to these people. Quite frankly I am sick of telemarketers and the whole idea of them. I am especially annoyed by others who sell details when you enter competitions.

Hung up when I answered.

A lady left a message saying hello.. then after a few seconds says “bugger, almost had her” umm sounds a bit shifty.

I didn't answer the phone because I didn't recognise the number. I rang back and got a recorded message. Rubbish stuff.

Hung up before I could answer. (thankfully)
Unrecognised number to me... thought I'd check here first.

Never answer an unknown mobile or number on your personal phone.
Lucky I didn’t they are scammers according to your reports. Thank you all. Added to my 3x million block scammer numbers ffs.

Whoever they are, they are sewer dwelling, feces swilling, morons. And whoever is paying them is worse. Idiots. Whatever they are being paid to do, they cannot even connect enough brain cells to do that right. Call... ring twice... hang up. Dalits, every one of them.
