Caller: FB marketplace scammer

Meet up with me in the cbd, they asked to meet 2pm on a Friday afternoon because they were working all day? - makes no sense. Early 20s aged short guy showed up in hoodie and baggy pants and a cap/snapback. Distracted me to look at the box (which was empty by the way, but wasn't obvious at first). Then took the $300 cash out of my hand before I could check the product and ran away so fast. I have video footage of what happened because my friend was standing off to the side recording us and what he did. I'm sick of being scammed by Facebook market place 'sellers' when I'm trying to make an honest transaction. I was buying a gift for my best friend's birthday and then had nothing left to buy anything else for him :( it was $200 cash. I also have all his Facebook information, mobile number plus the actual mobile number he uses which I found online after trying to log into his Facebook account. Got him! lol all of this was reported and given to the police and he was already on file and they were aware of him and now have enough to attain a warrent for his arrest if I decide to charge him. I'm giving him the opportunity to offer to send me back the $200 on his own. If not, then I will press charges, I have the time. I'm sick of being honest and getting f*cked over.
