Sent me a text with a dodgy web link likely to a virus/spam/adware. Didn't open it, knew was spam because went to my tablet not my phone

Its a scam call. Claims your debit/credit card has been suspended due to suspicious transaction and wants you to follow the link to update your details. Yeah, as if.
