i get spurious sms messages from this number purporting to be from telstra.
is this some scam?

I keep getting sms's saying it is Telstra and is my phone working ok!!! Obviously it is or I would have contacted them due to being with Telstra....😱 I also am getting voice messages without my mobile ringing which is annoying as charges accumulate for retrieval messages and the stupid part there is no actual message just background noise...😡

Had a call from this number on the 07/08/14. Was some yank thing to tell me that he had a amazing business opportunity for me. When I told him I was not interested, he got really sarcastic and said "so, you don't need extra money or want a great business". I just hung up at this point.
Have been getting more of these calls recently. Would love to know who & how as am on the do not call register

Sick of getting messages like this!

I had the same message with the email androiduk @ live.co.uk and I live in Australia and have a windows phone. Definitely a scam.

Sent me the following
"News: your mobile no. has been singled out for a payment of 800,000 Pounds from Android Mobile Prom in UK contact us at: androidmobi @ live.co.uk for more"

Doubt it's legit
