Message from John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle to confirm Outpatients Clinic appointment to see Specailist. Legitmate call.

Said they were from NSW Health Pathology for a form not signed and to reply "yes" to the text message, phone or email on details provided so they can contact Medicare to make the payment otherwise I will get the bill. Phone number and email address were both not related to NSW Health Pathology or Medicare. The message I received did not provide my name or any other details. A total scam but damn it looked legitimate. You really have to be on the ball to identify these.

Supposed reminder for Building Strong Foundations appt at Taree Community Health. I’ve never been to this health centre before and the message was sent to my mother with my name. I live in Queensland.
