scam text for a random name that has a similar phone number to mine. donation link did not open

Caller: TXT claiming to be from Fred Hollows .

TXT claiming to be from Fred Hollows Foundation. Claimed all donations to $75,000 would be matched. Suspicious. Had a link to click on to donate.

I have donated to the Fred Hollows Foundation a number of times. I don't think this is spam!

Unsolicited SMS from Fred Hollows. I explicitly opted of any marketing communications on donation.

Their message was:

My comment is: They seem to have made a typing error in the google word, but I am not going to try and google it, in case it compromises my security. I think it may be a muslim brain washing thing. Dont know. Will take this to the police I think. I dont know how they got my name. and I did not respond with STOP either.
