Someone (male) saying they wanted to ask on behalf of federal government about solar on the roof of our house as soon as I said yes we have them they hung up without saying anymore I rang back straight away and got a message (female) saying they are not available and the message box was full and no message can be left. Seems very dodgy oh and they new my name straight up without asking or did they confirm that I was the correct person they wanted to talk too dodgy

Same as above. Rang and hung up. Return call and message bank full.

Caller: Indian call centre trying to sell me solar panels

I've been getting quite a few of these calls wanting to tell me all about the (non-existant where I live) solar panel rebate. I've started having some fun with them by telling them I'm keen to know more. At this point they pass my address on to unscrupulous Australian installers who come round to try the hard sell. Until they spot the 40 odd panels already on my roof!!!!

As I live in a small country town I imagine it right royally pi$$e$ them off as they'd have had to travel around 200km to come visit me. I've already had 2 visits and just play dumb.

Hung up, did not leave message.
