Caller: Unknown scammer

Woman with a very strong Indian accent said she was from Telstra and tried to get personal info from my Mum to get a discount. When I questioned which department she was from she hung up.

Female with accent claiming to be Telstra, asking if I had any problems with my email (she knew it and my mobile) asking for access to check things - NO! The only connection I have with Telstra is through my mums account. She hung up when I attacked her saying it takes an hour to get through to Telstra on the phone, so how come she has time to ring me now??
Why on a mobile number??

yep got a call today i wouldn't give her details said i will call telstra later i hang up on her and she called me straight back told her not to touch anything of mine and i hang up as she knows my email address

Claimed to be from Telstra, told me I was eligible for a discount of 40% of my internet services. Asked for my email I said no then she hung up

Possibly the same woman who rang me- took quite awhile to answer me after I said hello and it sounded like a call centre environment. She then claimed that I was entitled to a 40% discount- I told her could she email the deal to me considering she claimed that she had my email address. It went downhill from there. When I asked where she was from as in what city in Australia- but she said Telstra- I wanted to know where in Australia but from Telstra was all she was prepared to provide.
