Caller: Pioneer Credit

Guy called "Grayson" called yesterday saying he was trying to reach "name" (not me, not anyone who lives with me). He rang while I was working and caught me totally off guard. I said I had to go and so he smsed me saying I needed to call him back or forward message on to "name" urgently.
Today I have had several calls from random numbers with no messages left which I couldn't answer due to being at work. So now he called me again this time more forceful than before. I told him as soon as he identified himself I objected to receiving calls that had nothing to do with me, and that I was on the do not call register, and that I wanted my number removed and not to receive any more calls. When I asked where he got my number from he refused to tell me instead saying he was from Pioneer Credit and "Did I pass on the message to "name"?" I had not indicated in either call I knew this person, and even if I do - why are they calling me and where did they get my number from? I had a similar call 2 years ago similar vein of someone harassing me about some guy I had a vague connection to because I was friends with his moths and hadn't had any contact with for over 10 years. Just where do these people go fishing? I get if a debt collector is calling me because I owe money, or someone in my household does. But I totally object to debt collectors ringing random people fishing for information. With the info he gave me, I do reckon he's breached privacy.. he's given me full name, approximate age and said he's a debt collector. That bothers me a lot.

I can confirm that same story happened with me so I checked online to see this number and found your comment. he must be a scammer. just a minute ago i had another call from 0452 594 716.
