Text message telling me that the energy saving technicians that I "signed up for" would be in the area in the next couple of days and to call back to make an appointment or I would "miss out". Also, if I wanted to cancel also to call or message back.

I've had a similar text from another number which I blocked, so these scammers have more than one number as most do anyway.

Don't answer them for any reason. It will just confirm your number is active.

Suspect this number was a cold calling nuisance business ..didn't answer, checked your site, and another person confirmed what I already suspected! They need to change their business model, and put Caller ID back with their number !!!
