Recieved sms from 'Dus', Oberoi Homes, on behalf of his client 'susan' wanting to buy my house. Never heard of Oberoi Homes, never put my house on the market . . . Scam

Similar vibe but Dus was from "Flynn Realestate agents" and offering home appraisals in a suburb I used to live. Never signed up for anything remotely like that, so don't know how they got my number and old suburb.

Wanted me to sell my home to one of his clients, but doesn't appear to know where I live (thankfully)

I don't live in the area he's requesting to buy from me. Never gave my number out to anyone in real estate yet somehow he's managed to contact me directly. Super suspicious.

Received a message from Oberoi homes wanting to place an off market offer on our home representing "Raj".

Received the below sms on Anzac Day, coming from mobile number 61 451 777 933. Judging from the other comments it seems the one and only Open for Inspection I attended about 4 months ago has onsold my info. I have blocked both numbers and will be having a word with the agent I gave my details to.

Texted on a Saturday about land appraisals in Victoria. Used the name of the guy who had my number before me. I’ve been trying to get rid of the annoying calls for about 5 years.

Dus from flynn real estate works at the Frankston office so he is a real person. They have created a huge list of numbers from people that went to inspections etc… also from other real estates. I called up the company to 1. Find out if it was a scam and 2. To find out how they got my number. I told them this whole practice looked like a scam and was not the way to do business. I requested my number to be taken from the list.

Called sounding professional and knew my name and was wanting to know if I was interested in selling supposely my property in a suburb that was unknown to me. Then quickly backed out of the call when I was not aware of the property suburb, and professionally apologised and hung up.... very sus now that I have looked up the number and there appears to be a theme.

Received two text messages now- first about selling my house to client ‘Sher’, second about doing free appraisals of neighbours houses and if wanting one. these two messages is a month apart.
messaged to previous owner of my number that was changed long ago. have blocked contact.

Got the same message on my mothers phone with my name on it saying if its not me please ignore.

I was also contacted by Dus, same as above. He knew my Legal name which I don't put anywhere except for legal documents. Very concerned about where this information has leaked from.

Same as others have outlined. Received message to state client "Paul" was looking to buy in Bonbeach area.
