Thank god I searched for his number first before transferring 😂

This scammer who identified as Jared Hudson when his number was put into PayID is a scammer. He got my details of Gumtree and contacted me saying he had an apartment for rent. He then sent some photos of this so called apartment asked for a deposit upfront to secure the property. I said no and I wanted to see it first. He said he couldn’t be there for a few more days so I played his hand and asked for the address and told him I would transfer a deposit after viewing the apartment from the outside. He was stupid enough to give me an address. Although I knew what he was up to, I went to the address and not surprisingly, it was a fake address (different property with someone living there). If you’ve transferred any money to this low life scum, call the police immediately.

Same rental property scam as above, this time about a furnished property in Spring Hill QLD. A quick Google search of theor mobile number shows this is a very unsophisticated, poorly thought out scam that targets those on need of accommodation. Some people have no scruples.

Contacted me today 8/4/ 2023 about my ad on gumtree was very pushy about me moving in immediately wanted me to transfer deposit and would then give me code for smart lock. BEWARE ITS A SCAM

He is a scammer contacted me by phone number after I posted looking for a room in fremantle. He is a low life scum bag taking advantage of vulnerable people. He was very pushy and rude. Be carefull of scammers on gum tree and everywhere
