Says Bendigo bank account has been blocked and to click a link but I am not with that bank so 100% a scam

SMS from the ATO saying i had a positive balance and to follow a link to verify my information

ATO Australian Tax office SCAM SCAM with a dodgy unsafe html hyperlink.... AVOID AVOID. DANGEROUS.

Same.. Received message to click on link to restore access to BB acct... Blocked number.

Yep, the old "Bendigo Bank account has been suspended, click on the dodgy link and restore your account" scam - We use Bendigo for our business accounts, however the message was sent to my Mum's phone, who doesn't have anything to do with them.

Got an SMS at 2 47am saying "Bendigo bank , to avoid you account termination simply go to " plus a dodgy link. Scammer.

Funny how I received a text message from this number at 3:00am (which would never happen from any bank) claiming to be Bendigo Bank and that an account has been terminated, trying to make you click whatever scam of a link they want you to click on so that they can take all your details and load you up with viruses the moment you do click that link.

Thing is, if they were smart, they'd know who to send this scam to. I have no account with Bendigo Bank, that's the dead giveaway to know you've screwed up majorly trying to make me believe you.

Nice try, but your scam's a bit obvious, try harder next time.

Sent me a text at 1am, saying to stop my account being terminated, simply click the URL to complete a security check. It's a random mobile number, Banks aren't just giving cheeky personal texts :"^)

I received a text message, which read: "Bendigo Bank, Your access to e-banking has been restricted. Please visit (I have omitted the hyperlink) to restore your online banking". Suspicious? Yes. Is it likely to be a scam? Yes. Reason being, I do not have a Bendigo Bank account!
