Scammer called me pretending to be from the Commonwealth Bank (had a heavy Indian accent) at 3.50 PM AEST. They advised that there had been fraudulent transaction attempts made in the USA from my account. They went through how to update security settings on the Commonwealth Bank App on my phone (and even gave me their alleged name and CBA employee ID number - Michael Matthews - UID323496), then tried to get me to download an app called "Zoho Customer Assist" which gives them remote access to my devices and network. When I advised that I wasn't going to do that because it would give remote access, they tried to say that it was for security for my network and argued with me about it. I terminated the call. Definitely a scam.
