Caller: Someone reporting to be from Visa & Mastercard security. Knew this was one of those scam overseas call because of the delay between when I answered the call and they spoke.
They asked me if I had a transaction in the last 30 minutes with a person (that they names) in the USA.
When I said no they started on their script to gain my confidence.
When they finished I asked them what were the details they have of the affected credit card.
They advised me that they couldn't provide that information for privacy and security reasons.
I then asked them "how do I know that this isn't a scam if you can't tell me the credit card details?". They hung up.
