Looks like this old scam is raising its ugly head again! Husband got an sms from this number at 8:30pm on a Friday, with the old story of " Dad, my phone broke & I can't access my internet banking. I have a bill that must be paid today, can you pay it for me & I'll pay you back." Silly husband believed it & sms'd back, received bank details BSB: 641800 Acct: (02) 0097 9356 Ref No: AUS6278L with $4962.50 to be paid. Our son is overseas & hey ho, they don't have bsb's over there, so I knew it was a scam. Husband is an educated man but he still fell for it. Lucky I control the money in this house so nothing was paid. Please don't fall for this trickery.
