Scam call alleging unusual ac activity and asking to visit westpac site. called bank to verify and was told that its a scam

Caller: SCAM SMS Apparently there was some unusual activity on my "Westpac" account blah blah. The website address looked pretty legit. No random letters or numbers and all spelt correctly. Do not be fooled though, this is a scam. The bank would email and text and would use your name and details to address you. Play it safe and never click on a link through SMS, log in through the app or go to the website by searching not via the links.
