They said they were from Telstra & my bill will be coming down by half, they then wanted to ask me questions about my service. I responded that they were not Telstra & blocking their number. Foreign lady with poor English

Said they were Telstra & that my bill would be coming down by half & then wanted to ask about my service. Foreign person with poor English. Told them they were not from Telstra & I would be blocking their number

Claimed to be tesltra which is not my provider and hasn’t been for probably over a year. Said they’d sent me a verification code after quoting to me my email address and number. The verification code was for Microsoft not Telstra. Hung up on them first and rang them back to abuse when I saw it was a Microsoft code. They then hung up on me. Reported to scam watch. Attempted to ring them back multiple times for a chat but they won’t take my calls. 😢

Claiming to be from Telstra and telling me they can reduce my bill by half it couldn’t tell me what plan I was on and how much I was spending and even there crap about sending me a code to verify didn’t work so be very very careful and yes, it was a foreigner
