Caller: Matthew Pettit Thanks to the first person to post on this number. He tried the same scam on us but for $7000. Thanks for giving us the heads up.

Caller: Matthew Pettit He just scammed us out of $5000 for a car sale using Escrow Finance. Happened last night - 17 Dec. 2020. Pretended to be in the AUS Defence Force in Tassie. Selling car. Money goes to a 'third party - Escrow Finance' and once we receive the car, money is released to him.
Photo with him holding his Drivers Licence - we now believe it is Identity theft.
