Caller: Telstra

It is a real Telstra call advising on possible 2 hour internet outage due to NBN night works they are not asking for any details or call back it is just a courtesy advice not a scam

NBN notification

i have received this text 19 times on different dates since December- have never clicked the links- none of them are .au links and I really don’t think Telstra would be doing 19 NBN updates in 5 months.... blocked and deleted now

i got the same, saying the NBN would be interupted on the 9th March, 2021 , again on the 10th March 2021, seems a bit odd , between 12:00AM an 6:00AM only for 2 hours

I've had a call from this number which this page tells me is from Telstra advising of an NBN outage. I have an SMS from the same number also advising me of a forthcoming NBN outage. Outages.telstra.com (accessed independently and not from the SMS link) tells me there may be an interruption on that date; so the number seems to be legitimate.

Have had calls from this number. We don't use Telstra and our provider hasn't advised us of any NbN outages which they normally would do.

SMS from "Telstra". says "NBN Co" are performing network updates and there may be outages for up to 8 hours. the web links in the SMS do not look legit as one is for a primary domain of "tel.st" and "outages.telstra.com" - not ".au", although the latter seems to be legit.

Claims to be Telstra, giving network updates about NBN in my area.
