Caller: Scammer Block this number. It's a scam. Do not call or text the number.
I let call go to voice mail. Woman said unusual transaction - someone attempted to use / purchase my gift card ( or gift card account ?) . European transaction for $13 000. Said it was unusual for this activity on my account. Told me to ring them back
I rang my bank ... They confirmed NO unauthorised action on my account.
The weird thing is ... I RARELY use my credit card - it's one where you pre-load your own funds onto it. But, a few days ago I did use it, to transfer $130 to a person's bank a/c in Europe, via WISE! It's the only time I've t/fer $ to Europe.
