They are calling about a competition I allegedly entered to win an iphone.

Had a call from this number.....Said are you this person and when i said yes. The call ended. I called back and goes to message Says"this number is disconnected' Funny this person knows my name.

I had a missed call on my mobile today 0439 687 757, I dialled the number back about two hours later and their was a voice message "Optus advises that this mobile number has been disconnected" thought it was very strange within two hours that the number was disconnected, probably some type of scam phone number.

Had a missed call from this number. Called back within 2 minutes and for the message 'this number is disconnected'

Yes I also had the same as most everyone else, I called back and got the same recorded message of number you have called is switched off or or not available. Agree that it would be telemarketer.

Lady calling from call centre asking many details about my job history and asking whether I want qualifications in order to gain employment

Had a call answered no one spoke then call it back the messaged said it was disconnected ( I called two seconds later)

Called my unlisted mobile number - called back, got the same "switched off or not available" message as everyone else

Telemarketer. Strange it's from a mobile though unless there call Centre was down or not functioning

i actually got them to speak said i had won an ipad or something after doing an on line survey (duh i dont do them) i was invited to a seminar in springwood told her live in lismore she said oh that is a long way away for you to drive (????????) at least she was aussie sounding but with faint english accent

Missed calls one after the other for 40minutes

I have had the same, I had this number call my mobile number and and I have called it back in numerous occasions on different dates and get this message: We currently advise that the number you have called is switched of or not available I also had numbers 0439 687 777 and 0439 687 885

I had the same thing - blank voicemail and then when I called back get the "We currently advise that the number you have called is switched of or not available". I suspect some sort of telemarketer
