Got a call they left message but no one spoke

Called and stated they weren't selling anything and wouldn't say where they were calling from until I confirmed my identity, once I did the caller stated I have been exclusively selected to attend a seminar on life insurance etc. When I stated this is still selling something, and to please put me on the do not call list, caller was argumentative and would not put me on the do not call list, had to hang up on her.

I picked the call on my landline.. said hello 3 times,, no answer... then I dropped the call.

didnt answer as i have this app on ky phone and it warned me about the number being spam. called the number back and it said the call could not be connected.

They called me stating that I won a competition that I entered. I did not enter a competition. They would give me a free Samsung tablet if I attended a seminar from Sheffield pacific. It was free food and a free tablet. I was sent an email and that I was to attend or cancel. I tried to call the phone number that rang me and it was disconnected.
