sh*t straight out of a horror movie. Recieved a call from this number at 19:34 Aus EST. Assumed it was sales so didn’t answer. But then I googled it and nothing came up. I was worried it was a work supplier calling me out of hours so tried to ring back twice. They didn’t answer. Then the person owning this number texted me asking who I was. We have conflicting screenshots. Mine shows them calling me, me missing the call, and their two callbacks. Theirs shows no call to me whatsoever, but shows my two calls. Pretty sure someone’s hijacking some random person’s number and using it for a scam. Is that a thing? Who knows. This whole encounter was creepy.
