Caller: Telstra - allegedly

Scam advising Telstra is reducing services by 50%. Very convincing sadly

The same last called me.
On Saturday called me 3 times in a row off a mobile number , I thought it was something important, so ended the phone call I was on, only to find this lady with my name and email saying she is from Telstra offering me 50% off my bill.
Way to suss for me, I said I never had a Telstra account. I said I would call her back, and she said to call the mobile number. Second red flag,
I called Telstra straight away and they said it was a scam, no one from Telstra will call off a mobile and offer a discount. Any discount offers are send via a text.
They tried to call again just now, and I told them that I have reported them to Telstra and they are opening case.
She tried to tell me that it's not a scam.
I told her it is, and that what ever service she has brought my details off are incorrect as I'm not with Telstra. she then ended the call.

Caller: Claimed to be from Telstra

As per other message, a woman with a thick accent said she was calling from Telstra to offer 50% off my bill. I asked her to email me. There was a lot of background noise at her end, which really didn’t sound like a professional call. Also, the caller knew my first name.
