Received a message with a Resy account verification code, warning me it wasn’t a booking code 😂😂🤦🏻‍♀️ Just another scammer blocked

I received a text "Just a reminder you're booked at Three Blue Duck - Byron for dinner today. Your table is for 7 at 5:30pm NSW time"

I don't use this app, I didn't make a reservation & I'm not currently in NSW

SMS: ###-### is your Resy account verification code. This is not a booking confirmation.

Blocked them. I hope they burn in hell.

This is not a scam at all. Its from the Resy booking service. If you book online with a restaurant who uses the Resy service you will receive a confirmation of your booking via this mobile number

Message claiming I had booked a restaurant, wanting me to type confirm or cancel. How does this scam even work?!!

"Welcome to Resy, Suzie! This is the number we'll use when we text you. Unrelated, did you know Wolfgang Topfschnig? True story."
I don't have the Resy app AND I'm not Suzie

A reminder text message for "Just a reminder you're booked at bills Bondi for dinner tomorrow. Your table is for 4 at 6:30pm. To confirm, please reply "confirm". To cancel use "cancel". (You can make other changes in the Resy app.).

Only problem is I don't have the "Resy app" - whatever that is, nor have I heard of bills Bondi.

I don't eat out, nor book tables at restaurants etc. Spam?

Caller: Got 3 text messages says it is from Russ and Daughters Cafe.

Russ and Daughters cafe is in New York. Number is in Australia.
